More Golds for the Long Wines’ trophy cabinet

Long Wines’ increased focus on its own brands, giving greater quality control, is reaping impressive rewards with the company’s wines scooping a total of ten Gold Medals and 13 Silvers in the recently announced Asia Wine Trophy, Berliner Wein Trophy, AWC Vienna and Mundus Vini 2017 results.

The Finca Amalia range from Rioja was particularly successful with three Gold Medals: for Finca Amalia Crianza 2014 in both the Asia Wine Trophy and AWC Vienna and one for Finca Amalia Tempranillo 2016 in AWC Vienna 2017.

BOS Tinta de Toro 2015 added another Gold medal and a Silver to its impressive recent haul, making a total of two Golds, four Silvers and one Bronze for Long Wines’ exclusive brand from DO Toro. Finca Mónica Crianza 2014 also added another Gold Medal from the Asia Wine Trophy to the Gold announced earlier this year in the Berliner Wein Trophy and the Bronze medal in the IWC 2017. Winemaker Fernando Mora MW’s Botijo Rojo Viñas Viejas 2013 also scooped a Gold medal in Mundus Vini 2017, with his new El Casetero range winning two Silvers in AWC Vienna.
