Calamar Verdejo makes the Washington Post

Dave McIntyre, wine correspondent of the Washington Post, is one of the USA’s most respected wine critics as he has been writing about wine since 1999. So, we were naturally delighted when he singled out our Calamar Verdejo from the DO Rueda for praise, highlighting that:

“The flavor is reminiscent of the better-known sauvignon blanc (which several producers in this region are growing), but without the grassy pungency. Think tropical fruit flavors with nice but not bracing acidity and medium body. Enjoy this by itself, with olives or seafood salads.”

Thanks must go to our US importers and distributors, Artisan and Vines, who have worked hard to achieve listings and recognition for this and other wines in our portfolio.
