Latest stats show growth for non-DO wines

Recent Spanish wine export statistics from the Observatorio Español del Mercado de Vino (OEMV) have shown some interesting trends in mature markets such as the United Kingdom, USA and Germany. After many years of growth in DO wines, recent price increases have seen consumers shifting to non-DO wines – with products such as Altos d’Oliva  – a Vino de España generic wine which offers great quality at a lower price point.
