Melea featured in the Drinks Business
Leading London-based wine trade title, The Drinks Business, recently featured Melea as one of its top new launches.
Highlighting the brand’s organic credentials, the magazine also mentioned the fact that Melea was made as a Long family collaboration, with artist Barbara Long stitching together the bee motif and Freddie managing the design process.
The Melea range is sourced from organically farmed vineyards near Cuenca and the range includes a Verdejo – Sauvignon Blanc blend and a Tempranillo. The 2018 vintages of both wines won Gold Medals at the Gilbert & Gaillard International Challenge 2019, a prestigious competition run by the French group that has been communicating about wine since 1989.
