A Riojan wine is a must in every importer’s Spanish wine portfolio and in an over-crowded, over-competitive market this wine stands out for its quality/price ratio. Finca Monica is a fruit-driven, intense Tempranillo made with grapes from vines of least 30 years old. Packed with particularly well-focussed fruit, it’s an easy drinking everyday wine with plenty of substance and character. The Crianza has been an award-winner year after year in major international wine competitions and the 2012 vintage won three major gold medals. We’ve named the wine after Mónica Sánchez, the widow of a local grower, who continues to keep a particularly immaculate patch of vineyard.
Finca Mónica is available in Tempranillo and Tempranillo Crianza.
