Introducing new team member Jaime Fernández Torres

A very warm welcome to Jaime, who joined Long Wines as Export Manager in March. Jaime studied Mechanical Engineering and started his career as a Sales Technician for an Elevator Company before catching the wine bug when working in a restaurant in Australia, where he lived for two years.

He studied with the WSET before joining Pernod Ricard as a Brand Ambassador, hosting training sessions and presenting the company’s premium wines and spirits at trade shows and other events.

He helped out on the Long Wines stand at Barcelona Wine Week earlier this year, where William saw his potential due to his amenable manner, excellent English language skills and enthusiasm for wine.

Jaime describes himself as, “quite a chilled guy, I love the sea and I go diving whenever I can. I love eating and drinking, and discovering new things in general. I’m curious by nature and set off to travel to Australia two years ago. Now I’m enjoying discovering more about the world of wine here at home in Spain.”
